• Ragging is banned at college
• Ragging is prohibited in the campus
• Ragging will be considered as crime
• Victim have right to inform about ragging to authority.
• Ragging will be informed any ragging committee members or through complaint box.
• Committee members were watching the campus premises. I noticed anyone that person will be punished seriously.
• Anti-Ragging awareness meeting will be conduct once in a month
• Ragging of any student will consider as indiscipline and student will be punished under in disciplinary action.
• Share complaint to their nearest authoritarian figure.

Anti-ragging committee

• Anti-ragging committee was constituted in the year 2003. It is headed by the Secretary & Correspondent, Dr.Y.Anthony Reddy
  And representatives from the faculty members, parents, students are included Om the committee.
• Permanent banners regarding tagging activities and punishments are fixed near the common notice board for all the students view.
• The law related to ragging and punishments are displayed in all class room notice boards.
• On commencement day of the academic session, the Principal and senior faculty members address the students, parents, family, regarding the anti-ragging activities.
• Routinely after the admission, students are asked to sign in an undertaking, saying that they fully understand the law
  Prohibiting ragging and the direction of the Supreme Court and the state government in this regard as per INC order.
• Parents are also asked to sign and submit the undertaking that they fully understand the law prohibiting ragging and the direction of the
• Supreme Court and central/state government in this regard.
• CCTV cameras are fixed and LVTG College of Nursing for monitoring ragging.

Description:

Ragging is a practice similar to teasing in educational institutions. Ragging involves existing students, annoying or bullying new students. If often takes a malignant from where in the new comers may be subjected to psychological or physical torture. Ragging in the college campus is absolutely banned, and hence any student found indulging in an act of ragging shall meet strict disciplinary action, which may include immediate expulsion from the institute apart from criminal consequences. The Anti-ragging cell in LVTG College of Nursing Is very vigilant at all time.

Objectivise of Anti-Ragging Committee

The anti-ragging committee will be able to

• Maintain the LVTG College of Nursing campus free of ragging.
• Ensure benevolent student teacher relationship.
• Design strategies and action plan for curbing the Menace of Ragging in the college by adopting array of activities.

Action

• Ragging is strictly banned in or outside the campus.
• All students should be acquainted with rules and regulations on code of conduct, anti-ragging measures and discipline of the institution.
• Anti-ragging committee will be alert on any ragging events.
• In the occurrences of ragging in the college the principal will be kept informed.
• The record will be maintained on all complaints and actions taken on ragging in any levels.

Punishments and Penalty for Ragging

• Suspension/dismissed from the college and hostel.
• Expulsion from the institution.
• Reject from appearing the examinations.
• Results will be held back.
• Scholarships and other benfits are withheld.
• Exclude from any cultural events representing the institution in any levels.
